How connecting works
- 01Click "Connect Intercom" from ListFunnel's Connections page.
- 02Sign in and authorize on Intercom's own consent screen — ListFunnel never sees your Intercom password.
- 03Intercom redirects back with an access token, which ListFunnel encrypts (AES-GCM) before it ever touches the database.
- 04Your Intercom connection shows as connected — subscriber sync activates from there.

Why this connection is scoped the way it is
Intercom configures OAuth permissions on the app itself, in its Developer Hub, rather than as scopes in the authorize URL — ListFunnel's Intercom app is scoped to contact read access only. Access tokens also don't expire by default, so the connection is a one-time setup.
