Every list intelligence workflow starts with the same unglamorous step: getting your addresses out of the tool that holds them. Here's the current path for each major platform.
Substack
- Open your publication dashboard
- Subscribers → Export
- Download the CSV (includes free and paid, with signup dates)
beehiiv
- Audience → Subscribers
- Click the export icon (top right)
- CSV arrives by email for larger lists
Kit (ConvertKit)
- Grow → Subscribers
- Select all → Bulk actions → Export
- CSV includes tags and custom fields — keep them, they're useful segment hints
Mailchimp
- Audience → All contacts
- Export audience
- Download the contacts CSV (Mailchimp splits subscribed/unsubscribed — you usually want subscribed only)
Klaviyo
- Lists & Segments → choose your list
- Manage list → Export to CSV
- Include engagement columns if offered — they enrich the import
Then
Upload the file to ListFunnel. Column names don't matter — addresses are extracted from wherever they live, deduped, and validated on the way in.
Run this on your own list.
