Suppression list
The people you must not email.
A suppression list holds addresses excluded from sends: unsubscribes, hard bounces, spam complainants, and legal opt-outs. Honoring it isn't etiquette — it's law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and self-preservation (complaint rates).
Mature programs suppress across systems: an unsubscribe in the newsletter tool should also stop the outbound tool.
